Leatherman - DIY Bit Extension

We all know that multi tools are very useful and give us a lot of options. We also know that Leatherman are the industry leaders when it comes to innovation and overall practicality especially with their extras like the bit kit, removable bit driver etc. Another product that Leatherman sell it the Bit Extension which fits into the Leatherman bit driver found on the Wave, Charge and Surge. This is a nice product as it gives you added capability and allows you to fit standard bits into your system. However for 1/3 the cost you can make you own and have the bits to go along with it. I to the magnetic bit holder that comes with these bits and using my bench grinder I was able to trim down the metal until it fitted into the Leatherman bit driver. Now I have added reach and the use of full size bits integrated into my system. A great addition to any mobile tool kit. The multi tools used for demonstration was the Charge Ti and Super Tool 300.
